You are a line of code, sneaking through the veins of a hostile system to steal data that isn't yours. Move fast, stay hidden — the deeper you go, the more the system starts to notice you.

Hack the Time is a momentum-driven 2D platformer built for speed. Think Geometry Dash's flow crossed with a proper platformer moveset: dash, wall-jump, grappling hook swings, and bunny-hop momentum that never punishes you for playing fast.

FEATURES

Fluid movement — dash, wall-jump, air-jumps, and a bunny-hop system that rewards chaining jumps instead of resetting your speed

Grappling hook — swing across gaps with real pendulum physics

Gravity-flip orbs — flip upside-down and run across ceilings, full moveset intact

Dash-only firewalls — barriers you can only pass through mid-dash; hit them without dashing and get thrown back

A wall that hunts you — appears mid-level, accelerates over time, and if it catches you, the whole level starts over

Hackable data files — quick-time hacking sequences hidden throughout each level, guarded by turrets and kamikaze drones

Boss fights — multi-phase encounters with dash attacks, projectile volleys, and a core weak point you can only expose by deflecting its heavy attack back at it

A background that reacts to you — the code-rain behind you warps around your position, pulses with your speed, and turns red wherever the system has been corrupted

Built in a game jam with a heavy focus on game feel — every dash, landing, and hit lands with squash, screen shake, and particles to match.
